Mercedes-Benz takes mobile marketing to the next level
In the new digital age where smart phones are
a part of everyday life, Mercedes-Benz has exploited the camera phone trend. Traditionally automotive designers test
prototype vehicles in closed track environments with camouflaged to disguise aesthetics
from the media. This time around, to premier their new A-Class to their product
line, Mercedes-Benz decided to wrap the prototype vehicle in QR Codes that can be scanned, with the
incentive of finding 4 trophy’s to win an trip to the world debut of the
A-Class. The campaign created huge buzz throughout all media and was a success!
