What's more satisfying than having your company's advertisement on a billboard for all to see?

Having the world's largest iPhone controlled racing game on a billboard in the middle of Times Square, New York!

Hyundai approached passersby and asked them to download the application, create an account and login to the Wifi network provided to start challenging their friends on the race track.
Once the individual races were completed, gamers' scores were placed across the billboard to see how they went against fellow racers. An engaging live experience that was also able to grab the attention of crowds in a high traffic location.

ASIC’s launched an experiential instillation proving a run speed of 4:46 a mile is even more impressive when you’re up against it.

Coinciding with the brand’s sponsorship of the 2011 ING NYC Marathon, ASICS installed a massive 60-foot video wall inside NYC’s Columbus Circle subway station and challenged passersby to race against US marathon runner Ryan Hall. With Columbus Circle being in close proximity of marathon participant registration as well as the race finish line, a few people were able to keep up with Hall’s strenuous 6ft 10 stride. Well aware of this fact, the creative minds at JWT New York thoughtfully played on audiences’ curiosities and empathy in order to gain petition signatures for their client’s worthy cause.

The Human Rights Watch “Behind Bars: Free Burma’s Political Prisoners” campaign ingeniously used experiential instillations to make it tough for passersby to look away from the initiative’s purpose. A large 7x18 foot instillation depicting 200 squalid miniature Burmese prison cells was erected in New York’s Grand Central Station with a sign inviting people to touch. Upon closer examination, audiences discovered 2,000 pens were used in lieu of cell bars so they could symbolically free prisoners shown in the instillation and then follow with literally helping the cause by signing a petition with the removed pens.

Mindful of the saying that dog owners eventually resemble their pets, and human nature’s inherent vanity, Pedigree launched a social media initiative aiming to get more people to adopt dogs in need. Doggleganger uses facial recognition software to match human and canine features to compel curious would-be shelter dog owners to actually commit to an adoption. Alright all you haters out there, check this clever campaign from Tesco's grocery stores in South Korea. Creating a life like shopping experience in local subways, passersby were able to scan the items they wanted and add them to their "virtual" shopping basket. The items were then delivered straight to their doorstep in the comfort of their homes, on the same day!
The campaign had tremendous results with 10,287 consumers visiting the store, membership increased by 76% and online sales by 130%.

Russian mobile company, Red Energy, was looking for a unique way to spread awareness around their "hassle-free communication" services and connect with a younger target audience. To do so, the mobile company developed a social game to promote their service, The Red Quest.

The scene was set: summer in Moscow, in the middle of an environmental catastrophe. The audience was faced with saving the planet by using an online platform to complete tasks in the real world. There were two kinds of puzzles they would need to complete to stay in the lead, including purely intellectual tasks which could be solved using web resources, as well as physical tasks which were to be performed "in the real world" with assistance of their mobile phones.

Run for Your Lives, a 5k race where runners are expected to navigate through a series of zombie themed obstacle courses, was looking for an innovative approach to market their unique competition. To promote the event, local advertising agency, MGH, organized a publicity stunt at the University of Maryland. The agency hired a "preacher" to warn students of the impending zombie apocalypse – urging students to start preparing, now! After the stunt was completed, the Run for your Lives website doubled in direct traffic and saw a 12% increase in race sign-ups.
